When I planned my dive trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I expected stunning coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But I saw something on the Amadive dive list: **Diving a Sunken Wreck**. My heart jumped. This was more than a typical reef dive; this was an exploration into the past.

I'll admit, I was a bit a little apprehensive. Wreck diving requires extra care. But the crew at **Amadive** was fantastic. The PADI instructors gave us an excellent briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the sunken ship, and what to expect down there. Being in such a small group immediately website made me feel safe.

Going down was unforgettable. At first, it's a shadow in the distance, and then it appeared. It is enormous. It's now a bustling artificial reef, draped in soft corals and swarming with marine life. I spotted big groupers hiding from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers patrolling the superstructure. That feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly vessel is indescribable—haunting, beautiful, and humbling at the same time. It's a piece of history under the water.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and seeking an adventure more the standard reef, I urge you this **dive** enough. It was the unforgettable highlight of my Vietnam trip. A huge shout-out to the **Amadive** crew for their expertise and for making this unforgettable adventure possible and safe.
